Man holed-up on statue in San Francisco

This scene started early on Sunday and last well into the afternoon. The man named Isaak/Issak decided to climb the Spanish American War Memorial statue on Dolores Street. He came down by 2:30pm. Allegedly he was high on meth.

Yea, Dwight Yoakam at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival 2014. What a treat. Loved this mans music for the longest time, but have only heard him twice, live, including today. Dwight has an authentic sound, with his own touch, make shim an artist not be ignored or dismissed.  More information on him can be seen here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwight_Yoakam

Coyote encounter while leaving Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival 2014

True story, while leaving the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival I decided to go back to the wildlife area and look for those owls. It just so happens, I found the owls, who were fighting with the ravens, but then once again, another hiker pointed out the Coyote was staring at me.

This owl was being mobbed by Ravens

Mushy moment at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival

Trubute to Warren Hellman tentSo I went to this tent, and got all mushy. You know, when you attend a festival like this for over 10 years, all the while, losing a lover, a home, pets, gobs of jobs, and a sense of well-being, you gain a tendency to appreciate the best things in life, which are music and community. And this event provides that. So in other words I socialized with people I don’t know. The tent was a tribute or memorial for Warren Helman who is the person who started and maintains the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Thank you Warren Hellman
